As of 31 December 2025, Team Tejbrant AB has become part of the Finnish group Lehtovuori Group. Through this merger, one of the Nordic region’s largest family-owned players in urban furniture is formed, with a market-leading position and a comprehensive offering for urban environments.
Team Tejbrant was founded in 1982 by brothers Åke and Folke Tejbrant in Åke’s home in Sollentuna, Sweden. Since 1987, the company has operated its own production facility in Hultsfred, Småland. In recent years, the business has been run by their sons, cousins Göran and Tommy Tejbrant, who have developed the company into one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of shelters and illuminated advertising units. The company’s solutions are installed in more than 20 countries and can be found in major cities such as Berlin, Stockholm and Warsaw. Production takes place primarily in Hultsfred, as well as at the subsidiary Tejbrant Polska in Wyszków, Poland.

A strong Nordic group
Through the merger, the combined turnover doubles to approximately EUR 30 million. The group now comprises 150 employees, manufacturing units in Sweden, Finland and Poland, and a sales unit in Germany. Together with resellers Norfax in Norway and Urban Elements in Denmark, a unique Nordic platform for innovative and sustainable urban solutions is created.
Lehtovuori Group, founded in Finland in 1945, has more than 80 years of experience in the design and manufacture of street furniture for public environments. The company specializes in steel constructions and is a market leader in waste management, offering a broad range of litter bins, sorting containers and bicycle parking solutions.
As part of Lehtovuori Group, Team Tejbrant will also work alongside Finbin Sweden, which since 2018 has delivered solutions throughout Sweden in close collaboration with municipalities, architects and property owners.

Sustainability and innovation in focus
Team Tejbrant has a strong sustainability profile, with local manufacturing and the use of recycled aluminium (Hydro CIRCAL) as well as low-carbon aluminium (Hydro Low Carbon), produced using renewable energy. Through the merger, the opportunities to develop innovative and circular solutions for the cities of the future are further strengthened.
“We see a significant strategic competitive advantage in combining our expertise in aluminium with Lehtovuori Group’s expertise in steel,” says Eero Ojanen, CEO and co-owner of Lehtovuori Group. “Aluminium-based shelters are in high demand and are often a decisive criterion in international infrastructure projects. We can now offer shelter solutions for all needs and integrate intelligent waste bins and cloud services into our products.”
Unlike the general industry trend, Team Tejbrant AB, Finbin Sweden and Lehtovuori Group have continued to grow in recent years, and the next major growth step was therefore chosen to be taken now, despite market uncertainty.
